Abbreviated company name: QUANG TRUNG GROUP is the No.1 unit in Vietnam in manufacturing large sized cranes.
Quang Trung Industry Group established on September 6, 2016 inherited from Quang Trung Mechanical Enterprise established in 1992 (According to Decision No. 308 / QD-UB of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - Business Registration Certificate No. 002971 first issued by Ninh Binh Department of Planning and Investment on September 8, 1999).
Quang Trung Industry Group is a unit with strong achievements were appreciated by the Party and the State in the 10 years of renovation, conferred many noble rewards: Huan Third-class Labor chapter in 1995, Second-class Labor Medal in 1997, First-class Labor Medal in 1999, Labor Hero Unit in the 2000 renewal period for the unit. Especially, at the end of the year 2000, the Party and the State highly appreciated the personal achievements of General Director Nguyen Tang Cuong, awarded the title of Labor Hero in the renovation period - the youngest person in Vietnam to receive the title. This brand is also a national emulation soldier, reported achievements at the 2000 National Emulation Conference and honored to sit on the Presidency chair.
In 2002, the Group was awarded the title of First Class Labor Medal. In 2005, the unit was awarded the Third Class Independence Medal. In 2011, General Director Nguyen Tang Cuong was conferred the Ho Chi Minh Prize for science and technology by the President and was able to design and manufacture a 1,200-ton crane for Son La hydropower project, bringing the project to reach the target 2 years earlier, benefiting the State more than ten trillion. In addition, the Group is also awarded many certificates of merit by the Ministries and local authorities: Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Finance on tax payment achievements; Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security on achievements in maintaining social order and security; Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Science for contributing to promoting Vietnam's scientific development; Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for achievements in contributing to the development of the industry and trade and hundreds of gold medals for product quality at domestic and international fairs.
In particular, the lifting equipment products of the unit were voted by the Ministries as one of six items included in Vietnam's national key product program. In 2016, the Group was voted by quality standards organizations, evaluating lifting equipment products to meet national quality standards.
