The overpass in Dai Co Viet – Tran Khat Chan intersection is the 6th steel-structured overpass put into operation in Hanoi since 2012 to reduce traffic congestion in those intersections that have high vehicle intensity.

The overpass in Dai Co Viet – Tran Khat Chan intersection is the 6th steel-structured overpass put into operation in Hanoi since 2012 to reduce traffic congestion in those intersections that have high vehicle intensity

With a 352.4 - meter length, the bridge is constructed by assembled steel, including 2 lanes for cars and 2 lanes for other vehicle (assuring that public bus transport smoothly). The total investment is more than VND 181 billion from budget capital of Hanoi City.

According to transportation organization plan of Hanoi Department of Transport: cars, motorbikes, buses, coaches follow the direction from Dai Co Viet street to Tran Khat Chan and in reverse passing the intersection will be given priority to travel on the overpass.

Vehicle from Dai Co Viet road can go straight to Tran Khat Chan or turn left to Hue Street; from Tran Khat Chan go straight to Dai Co Viet or turn left to Bach Mai; from Bach Mai go straight to Hue Street or turn left to Dai Co Viet road; from Le Dai Hanh, Mai Hac De pass Dai Co Viet to Tran Khat Chan, Bach Mai.

These travel direction passing the intersection must follow traffic lights and traffic signs. Vehicles can turn right without following the traffic lights. Besides, vehicle such as trucks, specialized vehicles, constructing vehicles, non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians cannot travel on overpass.

The overpass started construction on 17/01/2013 and inaugurated on 02/09/2013

With high determination, the unit has excellently completed assigned missions, reached the target 30 days beforehand compared to investors’ schedule.
