Quang Trung Industrial Group completed the construction of suspension bridge in Phuong Hamlet

The suspension bridge in Phuong hamlet, Cao Thuong (Ba Be) commune crossing Ta Eng stream has total investment capital of VND 3 billions. This is one of the 7 newly constructed suspension bridges belonging to the construction project of 186 residential suspension bridges to assure traffic safety in 28 provinces of Northern, Central and Highland areas.

Quang Trung Industrial Group completed the construction of suspension bridge in Phuong Hamlet

Located in western area, 17km away from Ba Be district, Cao Thuong is a remote and secluded commune with complicated terrain. It is separated with other areas by Nang River and highlands. The total natural area of the commune is 3,900 ha with total of 15 hamlets and 750 households, in which: hamlets in highland occupies the majority; Mong and Dao ethnic groups live scatteredly in high mountain slopes; the farthest hamlet is 15km away from the centre.

 

Phuong Hamlet’s suspension bridge has total investment of more than VND 3 billions. The investor is Project Management and implementer is Quang Trung Industrial Group. This is one of the 7 newly constructed suspension bridges belonging to the construction project of 186 residential suspension bridges to assure traffic safety in 28 provinces of Northern, Central and Highland areas. According to its design, the bridge is constructed in hammock-like design with total length of 60m width of 2m. Bridge’s girders and abutments system is made of reinforced concrete; bridge’s surface is made of steel beams; suspender cable is made of bearing steel.

Accordingly, this is the second bridge of Ba Be district constructed by Ministry of Transport in accordance to construction project of 186 residential bridges to assure traffic safety of ethnic minority. The construction of Phuong Hamlet’s suspension bridge helps the transportation of local people to be more convenient, especially in rainy season.
