Completing the construction of bridge in Gieng hamlet

Located in Duong Quang commune – Bac Kan Town – Bac Kan Province, when being operated, the bridge will significantly improve the material as well as spiritual life of people here. This is one of the 186 residential suspension bridge invested by Ministry of Transport for mountainous provinces in Northern, central and Highland areas. Suspension bridge in Gieng hamlet is construct cross Don Phong river, assisting 50 households of the hamlet and surrounding areas to travel more conveniently especially in rainy season.

The bridge’s size is 1.5 x 40m, solidly built with modern design; the minimum lifetime is 25 years – which assures that motorbike, non-motorized vehicle and pedestrians can transport easily
