The construction of Quang Ninh exhibition, fair and planing building is located in Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city on a land area of 62,363m2 and construction area of 20,678m2 divided into 2 blocks: exhibition block and and display block which is planned within a area with outdoor display and exhibition area with scale of 350 stands.
On August, 12th 2014, Quang Ninh province People’s Committee approved investment project of constructing exhibition, fair and planning Building in Decision No. 1756/QĐ-UBND. Accordingly, the approved project would have the scale as follow: research area of 62,363m2 and construction area of 20,678m2, divided into 2 blocks:
- Block A: has eliptical plan with large space. First floor includes lobby, exhibition area (300 stands), storage, assisstant area. Middle floor includes lobby and offices. Second floor has lobby, planned display, 1000-seated hall for service and workshops.
- Block B: Tubular architecture is beared by 07 pillars. Indoor space includes planning display area, restaurant and office service area.
- Technical – infrastructure system includes: outdoor display area (350 stands), internal yards, parking lots, trees, greenwards, fountains, lighting systems…
Quang Trung Group Join Stock Company (Quang Trung Mechanical Enterprise) takes responsibility for machining and installing tubular systems of block A and block B. Although it is near Tet Festival, workers as well as officials of Quang Trung Industrial Group still implement the installment steel structure of A block. Their target is to complete the work before Tet Festival.
